Tapestry, the Carole King Songbook
Lighthouse Festival lists Tapestry, the Carole King Songbook for Friday, October 23 at 7:30 pm at Roselawn Theatre in Port Colborne. Suzanne O Davis and her band perform the complete Tapestry album plus hits featured in the Broadway show Beautiful. The page says it is not a Lighthouse Festival production but is presented by the festival. The show recreates a 1970s Carole King concert in the style of her Tapestry album. Alongside the full album, the band plays songs from Beautiful and songs King wrote with Gerry Goffin in the 1960s. The page says the show includes stories, audience participation and multimedia. An independent producer created it, and Lighthouse presents it outside its regular season.
