West Lincoln Santa Claus Parade
The township now publishes the details. The 36th annual parade is titled A Very Country Christmas and starts at 5 p.m. sharp on Saturday, November 28, 2026. It leaves the West Lincoln Community Centre, 177 West St., Smithville, heads east on West Street, turns south on Regional Road 20 and ends at St. Catharines Street and Industrial Park Road. Road closures begin at 3:30 p.m. A Holiday Market runs at the Community Centre from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. the same day. The page lists no spectator parking, Santa schedule or cancellation policy.
Parade day schedule
- 3 p.m.: entry set-up begins in the Community Centre parking lot and surrounding area
- 3:30 p.m.: road closures begin
- 4 p.m.: entries must be fully set up
- 5 p.m.: parade starts
Route
East on West Street from the Community Centre, south on Regional Road 20, ending at St. Catharines Street and Industrial Park Road.
For entries and vendors
- Parade entry form is due before Friday, November 6
- Insurance documents are due by 4 p.m. on Friday, November 13
- Holiday Market vendor fee is $60 and insurance is required
- Volunteer traffic control and parade marshal roles are posted; most involve long periods of standing
