Boo at the Zoo
This year's Boo at the Zoo has ended. I'll update this page when next year's dates are announced.
Safari Niagara runs Boo at the Zoo on October 3 and 4 and again on October 9, 10 and 11. Visitors trick-or-treat through the park with more than 100 local vendors handing out treats. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last entry at 4 p.m. The park held daily costume contests at Wonders of Flight, with age groups at 11:00, 11:30, 12:00 and 12:30. The program also had Halloween music, dancing, photo spots, and crafts and games. Trams did not run during the event, and some animals were not on exhibit. Guests were invited to bring a trick-or-treat bag and a non-perishable food item for local food banks and charities. Safari Niagara was closed Thanksgiving Monday, October 12.

10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, last entry at 4:00 PM.

- Children 12 and under in costume: $5
- Safari Niagara members: free
Costume contests
- 11:00 AM: ages 0 to 3
- 11:30 AM: ages 4 to 7
- 12:00 PM: ages 8 to 12
- 12:30 PM: ages 13+ and group costumes
